2018 Women's Volleyball Preview

Patchogue, NY| After a successful 2017 season featuring an appearance in the Skyline Conference Championship Tournament, the St. Joseph's College women's volleyball team is selected to finish fourth in the Preseason Poll as voted on by conference coaches.

In his 14th season at the helm of the Golden Eagles, Toby Pantophelt brings back seven returners including two-time Skyline Conference second-team selection senior Danielle Senecal. The libero will lead the defense along with fellow senior Kristen Bohnenblusch. Sophomore setter Brionna Silva will look to guide the offensive attack of junior Kymberly Rambazis and Danielle Silkin on the outside with sophomores Jessica Young in the middle and Kaitlin Williams on the right side.

New to the Golden Eagles, senior transfer Amanda Rose looks to bring experience to the outside along with freshman Gillian Donaghy. Fellow newcomers Toni Parente, Logan Lemorocco, Carolyn Hayes and Amanda Goldstein all expect to make an immediate impact.

St. Joseph's is set begin its 2018 campaign Friday, August 31st when they travel to face Manhattanville College. A quick turnaround sees the season's home opener on Saturday, September 1st when Shenandoah University visits the Danzi Center at 3:00 pm.
