The St. Joseph's University, New York (L.I.) men's tennis was defeated 9-0 in a non-conference match with New Jersey City University on Wednesday evening.

• The Gothic Knights completely shut out the Golden Eagles in doubles play sweeping all three matches 8-0

• Ryan Freeley notched a game victory in a 6-1, 6-0 to NJCU's Nico Teynie in first singles

• St. Joseph's Nick Nemickas earned the host's only other point in a 6-1, 6-0 loss to Alejandro Ley in second singles
