Men's Tennis Suffers Skyline Loss to Yeshiva

The St. Joseph's University, New York (L.I.) men's tennis suffered a 7-2 loss in their Skyline Conference opener against Yeshiva University on Thursday evening.

How it happened
  • The Maccabees grabbed two points taking first and third doubles. Sophomore Nick Nemickas and senior Jake Guadiello came away with an 8-5 win over YU's Israel Bussu and Jose Hambra

  • Ryan Freeley had a dominating showing in his first singles flight with 6-1, 6-0 wins over Yoni Mayer 

  • Yeshiva went on to claim points in flights 2-6 to carry out the 7-2 win
