Laurent Lands on Skyline All-Conference First-Team

New York, NY| Graduating senior Andy Laurent of the St. Joseph's College (L.I.) men's basketball team was included on the Skyline All-Conference First-Team as announced on the conference website on Monday morning.

Laurent earns the honor for the second-straight season after leading the Golden Eagles in several statistical categories, including points (15.0/game), rebounds (6.2/game), assists (3.2/game) and steals (1.7/game).

Additionally, Laurent ranked eighth in the conference in points-, assists- and minutes-per-game and fifth in steals-per-game.

The Amityville, NY native played his final collegiate game in SJC's 69-61 defeat to SUNY Old Westbury in Skyline Conference first-round action on Tuesday evening and graduates third all-time in program history in points (1,566), fourth in rebounds (565), sixth in assists (319) and seventh in three-pointers (140) and steals (151).

Earning Player of the Year honors for the second-straight season was Old Westbury's Jamail Stanley who led the conference in scoring (22.4/game) and was second in rebounds (12.2/game) and blocks (2.1/game).
