Patchogue, NY| St. Joseph's College (L.I.) men's lacrosse team head coach Tom Rotanz released his squad's 2017 schedule on Friday ahead of its first season in program history. SJC will compete in the Skyline Conference and host eight home games in 2017.

The Golden Eagles open the season with three-consecutive home games, the first of which will be played against Western Connecticut State on Wednesday, March 1 at 7:00 PM.

Contests vs. Manhattanville (7:00 PM) and Division II's St. Thomas Aquinas (7:00 PM) on March 4 and 7, respectively, wrap up the season-opening home stand.

After an away date with Marywood on March 10, SJC returns home for a pair of contests vs. SUNY Canton on March 12 and Stockton on March 17.

A subsequent three-game road trip—which wraps with the first-ever meeting with local rival Farmingdale State on April 1—makes way for a home affair vs. eight-time defending Skyline Conference champion Montclair State on Tuesday, April 4 at 7:00 PM.

Following a pair of road games at Purchase (4/7) and Mt. St. Vincent (4/12) the Golden Eagles wrap their first-ever season with home contests vs. Maritime (4/18) and Kean (4/22).

The Skyline Conference playoffs begin on Saturday, April 29 and run until Saturday, May 6.
