Women’s Lacrosse Sees Four Named to IWLCA Honor Roll

New York, NY| The Intercollegiate Women’s Lacrosse Coaches Association released last week its list of recipients of the 2015 IWLCA/Zag Sports Division III Academic Honor Roll, and among the honorees were four members of the Skyline champion St. Joseph’s College (L.I.) women’s lacrosse team. Outgoing seniors Nicole Lyman and Caitlynn Webber, and juniors Jessica Cordano and Nicole Danisi, were listed among the 404 student-athletes from 130 institutions that received the award.

For student-athletes to be nominated, they must have achieved at least junior status academically and have had a 3.50 or greater cumulative GPA.

Lyman and Webber graduated SJC as double majors, with the former receiving degrees in Human Relations and Therapeutic Recreation and the latter in English and mathematics.

Cordano is working toward a degree in Business Administration, and Danisi is a Secondary Education major. Both are expected to make an impact on the field for the Golden Eagles in 2016.
