Five Golden Eagles Selected to IWLCA Academic Honor Roll

Grand Lake, Colo| On Friday July 29, five members of the St. Joseph's College (L.I.) women's lacrosse team were selected to the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA)/ Zag Sports Division III Academic Honor Roll.

Seniors Jessica Cordano and Nicole Danisi, along with juniors Meaghan Haber, Brianna Mascia, and Kelly Walsh represented the Golden Eagles on the ledger. The five student-athletes were the most among the Skyline Conference.

To be eligible for the IWLCA Academic Honor Roll, a student-athlete must be a junior, senior or graduate student with a cumulative grade-point average of 3.5 or greater.

Brianna Mascia was named to the Skyline's 2015-16 Winter/Spring Academic Honor Roll last month and garnished Skyline Scholar-Athlete of the Year Honors.

Cordano, Danisi, Haber, and Walsh were also named to the Skyline's 2015-16 Winter/Spring Academic Honor Roll for their efforts in the classroom.
