Basile Appears on Skyline Weekly Honor Roll

New York, NY| The Skyline Conference released its weekly awards on Monday afternoon and amongst the winners was senor Frank Basile of St. Joseph's College (L.I.), who landed on the Men's Basketball Weekly Honor Roll.

Basile powered the Golden Eagles to a 63-52 victory at William Paterson University on Saturday afternoon with a game-high 22 points. The guard went 8-for-8 from the charity stripe, pulled down six rebounds and dished out a game-best four assists.

The Islip, NY native appears on the Skyline Weekly Honor Roll for the third time this season and seventh time in his four-year career. Basile became the 15th player in program history to tally 1,000 career points in a home loss to Yeshiva University on December 8.

Basile and the Golden Eagles return to action on Wednesday, January 8 when they visit SUNY Old Westbury for a Skyline Conference contest at 6:00 pm.
