Skyline Conference Names Lax's Heather Ferchland Co-Player of the Week

New York, N.Y.  – St. Joseph's junior Heather Ferchland (Selden, N.Y./Centereach) was named the Co-Skyline Conference Women's Lacrosse Player of the Week for the period ending March 29, sharing the honor with Samantha Rich from Purchase.

Ferchland, a midfielder, tallied ten goals on 15 shots and added four draw controls in a 2-0 week for the Golden Eagles.  She scored six goals on March 26 in a 21-12 win over Western Connecticut and four on March 28 in a 19-2 Skyline Conference victory over Sage.  She added three cause turnovers and an assist on the week.

For the season, Ferchland leads the team with 30 goals and 33 points.
