McMahon Claims Skyline Women's Tennis ROTW Honors

New York, NY| After her first-ever appearance with the St. Joseph's College (L.I.) women's tennis team, freshman Kerri McMahon collected Skyline Conference Women's Tennis
Rookie of the Week honors, as announced by the conference on Tuesday afternoon.

McMahon helped lead SJC to a 5-4 victory over William Paterson on Friday night with an 8-1 win at the #3 doubles slot while partnered with fellow freshman Emily Portal. The Patchogue, NY native would go on to win her first-ever singles match with later in the evening with a 6-1, 6-0 victory at the fifth singles spot. 

McMahon becomes the first rookie since Victoria Makulik to receive Skyline Rookie of the Week honors. Makulik claimed the honor twice in 2015.
