Four Women's Indoor Track Athletes Set to Compete at ECAC's

Patchogue, NY| Four members of the St. Joseph's College (L.I.) women's indoor track and field team are set to compete at the ECAC Division III Indoor Track & Field Championship on Friday, March 4 at the Ocean Breeze Park Track and Field Athletic Complex in Staten Island. 

Ashley Arquer earned an ECAC qualification after her stand-out performance in the 60-meter dash at the NJAC Championships in which she broke the school record with an 8.04 time in the prelims. The sprinter would eventually claim second-place in the finals with an 8.06 finish to earn NJAC All-Conference Second-Team accolades.

Arquer also broke her own 200-meter school record crossing the line with 27.27 mark, but failed to qualify for an ECAC bid in the event. 

The team of Amanda SpragueJennifer Holownia, Jessica Pierno and Arquer would also earn an ECAC qualification at the NJAC Championships, breaking their previous 4x200 meter school record with a 1:49.86 time.
