The St. Joseph's University (L.I.) men's falls to Purchase in their second straight Skyline conference loss on Saturday afternoon.

How it happened:

The Golden Eagles opened the game with Bruno finding the back of the nets four minutes into action as St. Joseph's would outscore the Panthers 2-1 in the opening quarter

Two quick goals from Carere in the first five minutes of the second help SJLI build their lead 4-1 with 10 minutes to go in the first half

A pair of Purchase goals in the back half of the second quarter would cut the lead to just one prior to Strayer scoring with 41 seconds left in the half

As St. Joseph's started the second half with a two-goal lead, SJLI and Purchase would each find the back of the net once giving the Golden Eagles the 6-4 lead heading into the final quarter
