Men's Track & Field Earns USTFCCCA Academic Honors

Patchogue, N.Y. - The St. Joseph's College track & field team were cited for their efforts in the classroom as they received United States Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) 2012 Division III Track & Field All-Academic Team honors.

To qualify for the USTFCCCA All-Academic Team, an institution's team roster must have a minimum cumulative team grade point average of 3.10 on a 4.0 scale through the most recent semester/quarter. This is the second year the men's team has earned this honor. The team maintained a 3.35 cumulative G.P.A during the 2011-2012 academic year.

The men's track & field team is part of the Collegiate Track Conference and the New Jersey Athletic Conference (NJAC). The College of New Jersey is the only other team from the NJAC to receive this award.

A total of 74 institutions earned the distinction as a result of a cumulative team GPA.
