Patchogue, NY| Senior forward Andrea Iavarone of the St. Joseph's College (L.I.) women's basketball team collected her second weekly honor of the week on Monday afternoon when she was included in D3Hoops.com's Team of the Week for the week ending December 10. Iavarone earns the honor, which recognizes the best players in NCAA Division III across the nation, for the second time in her career.

The forward was also named Skyline Conference Women's Basketball Player of the Week earlier on Monday and was included on the Met Basketball Writers' Divisions II-III Weekly Honorable Mention on Tuesday.

Through two games last week, Iavarone averaged 18.0 points and 20.5 rebounds-per-game as the Golden Eagles posted a 1-1 record.

In a loss to Farmingdale on December 5, the Miller Place, NY native scored a game-high 16 points and moved into third place on the SJC all-time career points list. Her 21 rebounds were also a game-best.

Iavarone went on to power the Golden Eagles to a 72-49 victory over Yeshiva University on December 9 with a 20-point, 20-rebound performance. The six-time Skyline Conference Player of the Week was also credited with four blocks, four assists and three steals.

Before play on Tuesday, Iavarone was first in the conference in rebounds-per-game (16.4) and points-per-game (18.0). The forward's seven double-doubles were also tied for fourth in the nation.
