Women's Soccer Clinic Set For Apr. 13

Patchogue, NY| St. Joseph's College (L.I.) women's soccer head coach Salma Tarik announced the date for her team's clinic.

The clinic, for girl soccer players in their junior or senior year, will be held on Thursday April 13 from 9AM-12PM at the St. Joseph's College Outdoor Field Complex located at 246 Sunrise Hwy South Service Rd, Patchogue, NY 11772.

The year's instructors include Tarik, who was a three-year standout at Hosftra University and played in three games in the Women's African Cup of Nations, last November and scored the game-winner as the Egyptian Women's National Soccer Team earned its first ever tournament win in a 1-0 victory over Zimbabwe.

Also joining Tarik is assistant coach Johann Craan, Craan spent two years at Herkimer County Community College helping the team win a NJCAA National Championship in 2008. In addition, he transferred to Adelphi (DI) assisting the team to the 2009 Atlantic Soccer Conference Championship After graduating Adelphi, Craan went on to play for the Real Caribe Soccer Club winning back-to-back championship with the club.  

The clinic features technical stations and activities, small-sided situational drills, and full-sided 11v11 games situations.
