Gagliardi Named Skyline Women’s Soccer Player of the Week

New York, NY| The Skyline Conference released its weekly awards on Monday evening and amongst the winners was junior Christina Gagliardi, who was named Skyline Conference Women's Soccer Player of the Week.

Gagliardi led the Golden Eagles with 14 points--six goals and two assists--in a 2-0 week. The junior went for three goals with two assists in an 8-0 win over SUNY Maritime in SJC's regular-season finale on October 24 and went on to record her second-straight hat trick in a 4-0 victory over the College of Mount St. Vincent in the first round of the Skyline Conference Championship on October 28.

The Ronkonkoma, NY native garners conference Player of the Week honors for the second time this season and in her career. She's currently second in the conference in total goals (18), goals-per-game (1.2) and points-per-game (2.73).

The women's soccer program's all-time leader in career goals (45) and points (103), Gagliardi is one goal away from trying SJC's single-season goal scoring record (19), which the forward set last season.
