Skyline Release

New York, NY| Senior Samantha Caruso, juniors Christina Gagliardi, Juliana Cintron-Leonardo and sophomore Carly Credidio of the St. Joseph's College women's soccer team were named to the Skyline All-Conference teams as announced by the Conference on Monday afternoon.

Gagliardi picks up her second First-Team honor after leading the Skyline with 2.69 points-per-game on a team-leading 19 goals and five assists. The junior recorded a conference-best six game-winning goals and finished with five multi-goal games, including four hat-tricks. This season the Ronkonkoma, NY native became the SJC All-Time career points (105) and goals (46) leader while tying her own single-season goal record.

Caruso picked up a First-Team nod for her first-career All-Conference recognition. The senior started all 17 games for the Golden Eagles and recorded five points on two goals and an assist from the defensive end. The Lake Grove, NY native guided an SJC backline that held opponents to a 2.287 goals against average and eight shutouts.

Cintron-Leonardo spent all 1,537:16 minutes in the goal for the Golden Eagles, compiling a 10-7 record on the season. The junior recorded 97 saves and a .817 save percentage good for third in the conference in both categories. The Riverhead, NY native amassed eight shutouts to match a program record set in 2008.

Credidio earns her second honor in her two years as a Golden Eagle after finishing second on the team with 16 points on five goals and a team-leading six assists. The sophomore came away with a .571 shots on goal percentage and one game-winning goal.

The Golden Eagles entered the Skyline Conference Championship as the No. 3 seed. After a 4-0 victory over the fourth-seeded College of Mt. St. Vincent before, SJC fell in the semifinals, 3-1, to second-seeded Mt. St. Mary.
