Haviland Named Skyline Women's XC Runner of the Week

New York, NY| The Skyline Conference released its weekly awards on Tuesday afternoon and amongst the winners was junior Meagan Haviland of the St. Joseph's College (L.I.) women's cross country team who was named Runner of the Week.

Additionally, senior Christina Gagliardi of the women's soccer team appeared on the Weekly Honor Roll

Meagan Haviland (Jr.) - Women's Cross Country Runner of the Week

Haviland powered the Golden Eagles to a fifth-place finish at the Bard Invitational on Saturday afternoon with a 25:16.1 6k time, good for an 18th-place individual finish. The junior was the highest-placing Skyline Conference runner at the event and earns Runner of the Week honors for the third time in her career.

Christina Gagliardi (Sr.) - Women's Soccer Weekly Honor Roll

Gagliardi led the women's soccer team in a 2-1 week with nine points on three goals and three assists. The forward recorded a hat-trick and dished out three assists in SJC's Skyline Conference-opening 9-0 win over Yeshiva University on September 17. Gagliardi appears on the Weekly Honor Roll for the 12th time in her career.
