Cole and Flohr Named Skyline Player, Libero of the Week

New York, NY| The Skyline Conference released its weekly awards on Monday afternoon and amongst the winners were seniors Matt Cole and Will Flohr of the St. Joseph's College (L.I.) men's volleyball team who were named Player and Libero of the Week, respectively.

Additionally, senior Frank Basile of the men's basketball team appeared on the Weekly Honor Roll.

Matt Cole (Sr.) - Men's Volleyball Player of the Week
Cole led the Golden Eagles with 14 kills in a loss to Elms at home this week. The senior also contributed eight digs and two aces. Cole is currently third on the team in kills (53) and has been credited with 26 digs on the season. The senior earns Player of the Week honors for the first time in his career.

Will Flohr (Sr.) - Men's Volleyball Libero of the Week
In a loss to Elms on Sunday afternoon, Flohr led the Golden Eagles with 14 digs and dished out a season-best three digs. The senior currently leads the Golden Eagles with 91 digs for the season and was on the Weekly Honor Roll last week.

Frank Basile (Sr.) - Men's Basketball Weekly Honor Roll
Basile averaged 23.0 PPG and 7.7 RPG in three games for the men's basketball team last week. The guard led the team with 27 points in a loss to Mount St Mary on Saturday and posted a game-best 26 points in a loss at Sarah Lawrence on Thursday. The senior currently leads the Skyline Conference in scoring (24.2 PPG), and leads the Golden Eagles in rebounding (9.0 RPG) and steals (1.9 SPG).
