Adomaites Claims Second-Straight Skyline Rookie of the Week Honors

New York, NY| The Skyline Conference released its weekly awards on Monday morning and amongst the winners was freshman Alyssa Adomaites of St. Joseph's College (L.I.), who was named Skyline Conference Women's Basketball Rookie of the Week for the second-straight week.

Additionally, senior Frank Basile of the men's basketball team appeared on the Weekly Honor Roll

Alyssa Adomaites (Fr.) - Women's Basketball Rookie of the Week
Adomaites led the Golden Eagles in a 2-1 week with 57 total points at a 19 points-per-game average. The freshman added 13 rebounds (4.3 RPG), 10 steals, and eight assists. After providing 17 points in games against Sarah Lawrence and Mt. St. Mary, the guard went for 23 points, five rebounds and two assists in a one-point victory (68-67) over SUNY Purchase on Saturday afternoon. Adomaites is Rookie of the Week for the second week running and currently leads SJC with 18.7 points-per-game.

Frank Basile (Sr.) - Men's Basketball Weekly Honor Roll
Basile averaged 27.0 points- and 9.5 rebounds-per-game across two games last week for the men's basketball team. The guard posted 22 points and 11 rebounds in a home loss to St. Joseph's (Brkln) on Tuesday and capped off the week with a 32 point-, six-rebound performance at Farmingdale on Thursday. Basile currently leads the conference in scoring (24.9 PPG) and is sixth in rebounding.
