Gremli and Vahle Headline Skyline Weekly Awards

New York, NY| Six Golden Eagles received Skyline Conference Weekly recognition with senior Madison Gremli and sophomore Kristin Vahle earning top honors when the conference released its weekly awards on Tuesday morning.

Additionally, senior Alyssa Ramke (women's soccer) juniors Dan Dacos and Vicent Mariani (men's soccer), and sophomore Natalie Kopala (women's tennis) were all named to the Weekly Honor Roll in their respective sports.

Madison Gremli (Sr.) - Women's Volleyball Player of the Week

Gremli led the Golden Eagles with 63 kills averaging just under four kills per set with a .231 hitting percentage. The senior added 44 digs 2.75 digs per set and finished with eight total blocks. The outside hitter knocked down a season-high 20 kills with 14 digs against Western Connecticut St. and finished with 16 kills and 15 digs in a Skyline Conference sweep of Mt. St. Mary

Kristin Vahle (So.) - Women's Soccer Defensive Player of the Week


Vahle collected 10 saves across two matches on the week. The sophomore tallied her fourth shutout of the season with five saves in a 1-0 Skyline Conference victory over USMMA. She also recorded five saves against Farmingdale St.

Alyssa Ramke (Sr.) - Women's Soccer Weekly Honor Roll


Ramke scored the lone goal of a 1-0 Skyline Conference win over USMMA

Dan Dacos (Jr.) - Men's Soccer Weekly Honor Roll


Dacos led a back line that held Sarah Lawrence scoreless in the 2-0 Skyline Conference win

Vincent Mariani (Jr.) - Men's Soccer Weekly Honor Roll


Mariani scored the first of two goals in a 2-0 victory against Sarah Lawrence in the lone game of the week for the Golden Eagles

Natalie Kopala (So.) Women's Tennis Weekly Honor Roll


Kopala battled to a victory in #1 singles (6-4, 4-6, 10-4) against John Jay while also recording an 8-4 win in #1 doubles
