Curcio and Edwards Named Skyline All-Conference
New York, NY| Two members of the St. Joseph's University-New Your (L.I.) women's soccer team were named to the Skyline All-Conference teams as announced by the Conference on Tuesday afternoon.
Senior midfielder Abbey Curcio landed on the First-Team for the second consecutive season with junior defender Gianna Edwards named to the Second-Team.
Curcio led the Golden with 17 points on a team-best six goals with five assists. The midfielder was named Skyline Conference Weekly Honor Roll and will finish top three in program history with 64 points on 23 goals scored and 18 assists.
Edwards led the Golden Eagles' defense that allowed a stingy 1.19 goals-against average with six shutouts.
The Golden Eagles entered the Skyline Conference Championship (8-5-3, 7-3-1 Skyline), as the No. 4 seed before ending their season at the hands of the fifth-seeded Mahanttanville College, 2-1, in the first round.
