Hunter Outpaces Women’s Swimming on Tuesday

Patchogue, NY| The St. Joseph's College (L.I.) women's swimming team took a 107-71 defeat to non-conference rival Hunter College inside the Danzi Center Pool on Tuesday evening.

Highlights for SJC included sophomore Samantha Mullman's pair of first-place finishes in the 50 yard free (27.45) and the 100 yard free (1:01.31).

Freshman Bella Peralta established the program's 400 yard IM record with a time of 6:01.50 and a third-place finish.

SJC wrapped up the evening with a second-place finish in the 400 freestyle relay as Mullman, Aileen Baker, Catherine Peralta and Bella Peralta posted a 4:22.52 time.

The Golden Eagles return to action on Saturday, January 13 when they host non-conference rival John Jay College for Senior Day at 1:00 pm.
