Patchogue, NY| The St. Joseph's College (L.I.) women's tennis team dropped a 7-2 decision to Farmingdale State in a Skyline Conference match at the Outdoor Field Complex on Thursday evening.

The loss sends the Golden Eagles to 3-5 overall on the year and 3-3 in Skyline play as the Rams improve to 10-3 and 6-0.

SJC dropped all three doubles matches but fared best at third doubles, where Haley Celona and Angelina DeMonte were defeated 8-6.

Despite the loss, SJC secures a Skyline Conference playoff berth. First-round matches are scheduled for October 20.
