Murino, Bellini and Cordano Tabbed to All-Skyline Teams

New York, NY| Seniors Chelsea Bellini and Joann Murino of the St. Joseph's College (L.I.) women's soccer team have been selected to the All-Skyline Conference First-Team for the 2015 season, while senior midfielder Jessica Cordano was named to the Second-Team, the conference on Monday afternoon.

Bellini leads the Golden Eagles with 12 goals this season, which is the third- highest single-season total in St. Joseph's history. Additionally she is fourth in the conference in goals, and tallied three game winners on the season.

Murino earned All-Skyline honors for the third consecutive year, as she was a Second-Team selection in 2014. She has played in 17 games and started in 16 in both a midfielder and central defense. She has anchored the St. Joseph's College backline holding its opponents to a .136 shooting percentage and only allowing 26 goals on the season. The Bohemia, NY native also contributed three goals on the season, two of which were game-winners.

Jessica Cordano received the first All-Skyline accolades of her career with her Second-Team selection. She ranks third on the team in scoring with four goals and 15 points, and she currently leads the team with seven assists.
