Written by Joshua Soto (SJC-LI Sports Information)

Patchogue, NY| Fourth-seeded St. Joseph's College(L.I.) women's soccer team (8-9-2 , 6-3 Skyline) will look to claim its first Skyline title when they square-off against third-seeded Mount Saint Mary (14-6-2, 8-1 Skyline) in the 2015 Skyline Soccer Championship final on Saturday, November 7 at 2:00 PM.

The Golden Eagles advanced to their third conference championship game after downing top-seeded Farmingdale St. on Wednesday in penalty kicks, 7-6, after the two teams played to a scoreless draw. It was the first time in program history that SJC defeated Farmingdale in the Skyline Tournament.

The Knights also earned a berth via penalties, when they advanced following a 1-1 draw.

This will be the Golden Eagles first in the conference final since 2008, when they fell to Farmingdale by the score of 1-0.

The two teams collided in an earlier match this year when Mount St. Mary held the Golden Eagles scoreless in a 1-0 victory. Nicole Cavallo scored the lone goal in the 13th minute, as she ripped a shot from 30 yards out.

The winner of the Skyline finals will earn a bid in the NCAA Regional Tournament on Saturday November 14th.
