New York, NY| The Skyline Conference released its weekly awards on Monday afternoon and amongst the winners were junior Matthew Amberge (men's volleyball), senior Daniel Antonawich (men's track), senior Jennifer Holownia (women's track) and sophomore Tori Staker (women's lacrosse) of St. Joseph's College (L.I.), who were named Players or Athletes of the Week in their respective sports.

Additionally, sophomore Kassandra Tibbetts of the softball team appeared on the Weekly Honor Roll.

Matthew Amberge (Jr.) – Men's Volleyball Player of the Week

Amberge becomes the sixth different Golden Eagle to be named Men's Volleyball Skyline Player of the Week this season after a 42-kill week. The junior hit .317 and averaged 3.23 kills-per-set in a 3-1 week for SJC. In a sweep of #13 Arcadia, the opposite side hitter hit .476 and recorded 12 kills, and in a loss to NYU on the same day he went for a game-high 17 kills.

Daniel Antonawich (Sr.) – Men's Track Athlete of the Week

Antonawich turned in a fourth-place finish in the 100-meter hurdles event (17.77) at the Mount St. Mary College Invitational on March 30. The senior also took 18th in a field of 55 in the 200-meter run (24.38).

Jennifer Holownia (Sr.) – Women's Track Athlete of the Week

Holownia recoded a second-place finish in a field of 36 in the 100-meter run (13.36) and a third-place finish out of 29 in the 200-meter run (27.09) at Saturday's Mt. St. Mary Invitational. The senior also anchored the 4x100 relay and placed second with a time of 54.27.

Tori Staker (So.) – Women's Lacrosse Player of the Week

Staker led the women's lacrosse team in a 1-1 week with six points on six goals. The midfielder also produced a team-best 11 draw controls, nine ground balls and seven caused turnovers. Staker currently ranks second in the Skyline in draw controls, third in caused turnovers and fourth in ground balls.

Kassandra Tibbetts (So.) – Softball Weekly Honor Roll

Tibbetts hit .455 in four games last week (SJC 2-2). The sophomore infielder drove in three runs, scored twice and recorded a pair of doubles. In a 9-4 win over Sarah Lawrence on March 30, Tibbetts went 2-for-3 with a double and a home run.
