Iavarone Named to Skyline Weekly Honor Roll

New York, NY The Skyline Conference released its weekly awards Monday afternoon, and amongst the winners was sophomore Andrea Iavarone of the women's basketball team who was named to the Weekly Honor Roll.

The women's basketball team leading scorer Andrea Iavarone posted two double-doubles in three games averaging 18.3 points- and 11.0 rebounds-per-game last week. In a win over Skyline Conference rival Farmingdale St., Iavarone posted a game-high of 23 points and 17 rebounds. The Miller Place, NY native would post her 11th double-double of the season in a win against U.S Merchant Marine Academy on Thursday, January 14 with a 19 point/ 12 rebound performance. The forward is currently first in the conference in rebounds (12.3/game) and third in scoring (18.0/ game).
