Iavarone Reels in 9th Skyline Weekly Honor Roll Recognition

New York, NY| The Skyline Conference released its weekly awards Monday afternoon, and amongst the winners was sophomore Andrea Iavarone of the St. Joseph's College (L.I.) women's basketball teams who, was selected to the Weekly Honor Roll for the ninth time this season.
Iavarone averaged 16.5 points- and 9.5 rebounds-per-game in two games for the SJC women last week, and posted her 14th double-double (11 points, 12 rebounds) of the season in a conference defeat to Old Westbury on Feb. 3 in the process. In a loss to Mount St. Vincent on Feb. 6, the Miller Place, NY native posted a game-high 22 points, shooting 70% (9-13) from the field and a perfect 4-for-4 from the line. Iavarone is currently third in scoring (17.8 PPG) and second in rebounds (11.3 RPG) in the conference and is top-30 in the nation in rebounds-per-game and total rebounds. Additionally, Iavarone's 14 double-doubles are good for 8th in the country.
