Iavarone Earns 8th Skyline Weekly Honor Roll Selection

New York, NY| The Skyline Conference released its weekly awards Monday afternoon, and amongst the winners was sophomore Andrea Iavarone of the St. Joseph's College (L.I.) women's basketball teams who, was selected to the Weekly Honor Roll for the eighth time this season.
Iavarone posted two double-doubles in as many contests, averaging 16.5 points and 11.5 rebounds-per-game for the SJC women last week. In a win over Skyline Conference foe Yeshiva University, Iavarone posted a game-high 14 points and 11 rebounds. The Miller Place, NY native would post her 13th double-double of the season in a loss to Sage College on Saturday, January 30 with a 19 point/ 12 rebound performance. Iavarone is currently second in both scoring (17.9 PPG) and rebounds (11.5 RPG) in the conference and is top-30 in the nation in rebounds-per-game and total rebounds. Additionally, Iavarone's 13 double-doubles are good for 10th in the country.
