Baseball's Sanguedolce Named Skyline Scholar-Athlete of the Year

New York, NY| Junior Joe Sanguedolce was named the 2023 Skyline Conference Baseball Scholar-Athlete of the Year on Tuesday as announced on the conference's website.

A Scholar-Athlete of the Year Award is presented to the first-team All-Conference performer who carries the highest grade point average (minimum 3.30) for the semester in which the student-athlete competes.

Sanguedolce appeared on the All-Conference First-Team for the first time in his career and had a 4.00 spring GPA. The second baseman finished second on the team this year in hits (51) and runs scored (38) while recording a .347 batting average and a .476 slugging percentage, along with seven doubles, four home runs, 28 RBIs, and 20 stolen bases.
