McCarthy Earns Skyline Player of the Week, Moore Makes Honor Roll

Patchogue, N.Y. — Sean McCarthy's (Kings Park, N.Y./ Kings Park) performance at the Rose City Classic Tip-Off Tournament at Drew University this weekend earned him both an All-Tournament Team honor as well as a Skyline Conference Player of the Week recognition.

In SJC's (1-1) 81-79 overtime win over Drew University (0-1), McCarthy led his team with 24 points, two steals, nine rebounds and three assists. In the Eagles' loss against Rosemont (2-0) in the toruney championship game the following day, McCarthy contributed 21 points, six rebounds and three steals.

SJC freshman forward Isaiah Moore (North Babylon, N.Y./ North Babylon) earned a spot on the Skyline Conference Honor Roll for the same week. Moore had 12 points, three rebounds and two assists against Drew as well as 15 points and seven rebounds against Rosemont.
