Galloway, NJ| The St. Joseph's College (L.I.) men's soccer team saw its seven-game unbeaten streak come to an end on Wednesday evening after suffering a 7-0 road loss to non-conference rival Stockton University.

With the loss, the Golden Eagles drop to 6-6-1 on the year as the Ospreys improve to 11-3-3.

Two goals in less than five minutes in the 16th and 21st minutes saw the hosts take an early lead, which they would later double before the break with tallies in the 35th and 43rd minutes.

Picking up where they left off, the Ospreys tacked on three more goals in the second half and stormed to a 7-0 victory.

Freshman Steven Deng (5-3-1) started in goal for SJC and made six saves in 79 minutes of action. Junior Lewis Meitz made three saves in 11 minutes of relief action.

The Golden Eagles return to action on Saturday, October 21 when they host Mount St. Mary College in a crucial Skyline Conference contest at Danzi Stadium.

The match, which begins at 12:00 pm, will be preceded by a ceremony celebrating the achievements of the team's six graduating seniors.
