The St. Joseph's University, New York (L.I.) men's volleyball earned a pair of Skyline Conference wins over Ramapo College and Sarah Lawrence College on Saturday afternoon.

Top Performers
  • Junior Mark Williams paced the Golden Eagles with 15 kills with a game-high six aces while adding eight digs 

  • Senior Tyler Anderson knocked down 14 kills with eight digs and three blocks

  • Freshman Luke MacPherson rounded out the top scorers with 12 kills and three blocks

  • Setter CJ Johnson dished 35 assists and six kills while finishing with a team-high 10 digs 

  • Sean Nieves finished with a match-best 21 kills with Andrew Finnegan pitching in with 16 kills. Setter Jojo Meyer tossed 49 assists with libero Simon Moeller picking up 13 digs

How it happened
  • After dropping set one 25-21, the Golden Eagles bounced back taking set two 25-15.

  • Tied at one set apiece, St. Joseph's was led by a seven-kill performance from Williams en route to a 25-22 win in set three

  • The Roadrunners held off elimination edging the Golden Eagles 25-23 in set four to push the match to a decisive set five

  • St. Joseph's was first to reach the eight-point mark following a kill from Williams, 8-5. The Golden Eagles managed to keep their distance as they came away with the 15-11 win

  • Sophomore Logan Meyer led the Golden Eagles with 12 kills while hitting at a .500 clip

  • Graduate Matthew Dolan knocked down seven kills 

  • Setter Dominic Ruggiero finished with 26 assists and four service aces 

  • Sarah Lawrence got a pair of kills from Juan Paris and Felix Hickman with Lance De Leoz recording three assists 

How it happened
  • The Golden Eagles made quick work of the Gryphons with 25-11, 25-9, and 25-10 wins in straight sets.

  • St. Joseph's finished hitting .439 as a team while holding SLC to -.105

Next up, the Golden Eagles will host Yeshiva University for a Skyline Conference matchup in the Danzi Center on Tuesday, March 21 at 7:00 pm.
