New York, NY| Six Golden Eagles received Skyline Conference Weekly awards when the conference released its weekly awards on Tuesday morning.
Sophomore Logan Meyer of the men's volleyball team was named Men's Volleyball Rookie of the Week.
Additionally, junior CJ Johnson of the men's volleyball team, junior Jamie Trowbridge, freshman Maggie Harding, freshman Kayla Sodano all of the women's lacrosse team, and freshman Antonia Busa of the softball team all secured weekly honor roll recognition.
Logan Meyer (So.) - Men's Volleyball Rookie of the Week
Meyer helped guide the Golden Eagles with 18 kills total on the week. The sophomore recorded six kills, six digs, one assist, and one service ace in a 3-0 sweep over Mount Saint Vincent. The outside hitter also finished with game-highs 12 kills and 11 digs in a Skyline Conference 3-0 sweep over Purchase.
CJ Johnson (Jr.) - Men's Volleyball Weekly Honor Roll
Johnson led the Golden Eagles with 100 assists on the week across four different matches. The junior had a team-high 33 assists to go along with four kills, seven digs, one block solo, and three block assists against #8 NYU. The setter also tallied a game-high 39 assists while contributing two kills, five digs one block solo and three block assists against Wentworth. The Holbrook NY, native also added 28 assists and five digs in just three sets played against Skyline Conference matchups Mount Saint Vincent and Purchase.
Jamie Trowbridge (Sr.) - Women's Lacrosse Weekly Honor Roll
Trowbridge finished the week tying a team-leading five goals and three assists for a total of eight points in two games on the week. The senior provided the Golden Eagles with two goals, with four groundballs and four draw controls against New Paltz. The midfielder also added three goals and three assists for a total of six points with three groundballs and four draw controls in a win against Ramapo.
Maggie Harding (Fr.) - Women's Lacrosse Weekly Honor Roll
Harding totaled 22 saves in two games on the week for the Golden Eagles. The goalie provided 10 saves with a .400 save percentage in a game against New Paltz. The freshman matched a game-high 12 saves with a .600 save percentage while collecting one groundball in a win against Ramapo.
Kayla Sodano (Fr.) - Women's Lacrosse Weekly Honor Roll
Sodano finished the week with two goals and one assist all coming in a win against Ramapo. The freshman totaled four shots with three shots on goal while collecting one groundball.
Antonia Busa (Fr.) - Softball Weekly Honor Roll
Busa finished hitting .286 in the opening doubleheader for the Golden Eagles with a pair of RBIs and a run scored. The freshman recorded a double which was one of only three hits recorded against Smith College. The Massapequa NY, native knocked in the eventual game-winning winning run with a two-out two-RBI double in the bottom of the sixth against Beloit.
