First Women's Lacrosse Team Picked Seventh in Skyline Preseason Poll

New York, NY - In the 2012 Skyline Pre-Season Women's Lacrosse Coaches' Poll, Montclair State has earned the top spot, beating out Ramapo.

Montclair State was a perfect 8-0 in league play and 13-6 overall last year. The Red Hawks are led by senior midfielder Cora Delfini, who averaged 3.16 goals per game, junior attack Kailee Beal, who contributed 1.05 assists per game, and junior goal keeper Tiffani Henderson. All were first-team All-Skyline selections for the Rams.

Ramapo College was 7-1 in the Skyline and 11-5 in overall. The Roadrunners are led by two returning first-team All-Conference picks - junior midfielder Amanda Barretta, who tallied 3.19 goals per game and 3.94 points per game and sophomore midfielder Adrianna Tepedino, who had 1.56 assists per game.

Finishing third with 52 points is Farmingdale State, which compiled an 8-8 league mark. The Rams are anchored by senior goalkeeper Courtney Cook, who was second in the league in save percentage (.477) and first in saves per game (9.08).

Kean, Mount Saint Vincent, Mount Saint Mary, St. Joseph's-L.I., Maritime, and Sage round out the poll.
