Troy, NY| Sophomore Michael Flynn tallied the lone goal as the St. Joseph's College (L.I.) men's soccer team suffered a 4-1 loss to Sage in a Skyline Conference match-up on the road on Saturday evening.

With the loss, the Golden Eagles slip to 7-9 on the season and 6-4 in conference play while the Gators improve to 6-7-3 (4-5-1 Skyline).

Sage poured it on early tallying three goals in the first half all off the foot of River Seybolt, who registered his 10th, 11 and 12th goals of the season.

Liam Hayes' mark in the 66th minute extended the Gators' lead to 4-0 before Flynn notched his second goal of the season in the 76th minute to wrap up the evening's scoring.

Despite the three-goal margin, SJC was marginally outshot (14-13) in the contest. The guests would, though, generate six corners to the Gators' zero.

The Golden Eagles return to action on Wednesday, October 26 when they travel to face Farmingdale in a Skyline contests at 6:00 PM. Live stats will be available here.
