New York, NY| Seniors Lindsey Corriss, Megan Leun and Mallory McClafferty were joined by junior Gabrielle Cinquemani on the 2016 Skyline Softball All-Conference First-Team, which was announced by the conference on Monday morning. Additionally, McClafferty received a Second-Team for her accomplishments on the mound.

For Corriss, it's her second First-Team selection at the outfield position in as many years after hitting .430 on the year with 39 runs and a conference-leading 28 stolen bases (16th in the nation). The center fielder also finished second in the conference in hits (55) and triples (5, 5th in the nation).

With her first All-Conference selection, Leun transitioned well to the first base position and batted .349 with 22 runs and 23 RBI's to help bolster a balanced SJC offense. Cinquemani saw success at the hot corner providing strong defensive play in addition to hitting .349 on the season with 30 RBI's, 27 runs and a team-leading eight homers (T-2nd in the conference).

In McClafferty, the Golden Eagles saw a player receive both Skyline First-Team and Second-Team nods in the same season for the first time in program history. McClafferty batted a team-best .470 on the year with 46 RBI's, 28 runs, 16 doubles and seven home runs to land on the First-Team at the utility position. The Bellport, NY native's Second-Team selection came as a pitcher after a season in which she posted a 10-4 record with a 2.78 ERA and 97 strikeouts (3rd in the conference).
