Christian Bleck Named Cleveland Golf/Srixon All-America Scholar

Rochester, NY| Christian Bleck of the St. Joseph's College (L.I.) golf team was named to the Cleveland Golf/Srixon All-America Scholar's list on Tuesday evening, making him the program's first All-American.

Bleck was just one of 34 men's golfers in NCAA Division III named to the All-American Scholar's list.

The First-Team All-Conference member held a scoring average of 76.08, and finished in first at the SUNY Old Westbury Invitational.

Cleveland Golf/Srixon All-America Scholars for Division III are announced by the Golf Coaches Association of America. To be eligible for Cleveland Golf/Srixon All-America Scholar status an individual must be a junior or senior academically, compete at least two full years at the collegiate level, participate in 50 percent of his team's competitive rounds or compete in the NCAA Championships, have a stroke average under 79.0, and maintain a minimum cumulative grade-point average of 3.2. A recipient must also be of high moral character and be in good standing at his college or university.
