Josh Outsen Wins Skyline Pitcher of the Week for 4/27

New York, N. Y. - St. Joseph's College has three Golden Eagles featured in this week's Skyline Conference Report for April 27 led by baseball's Josh Outsen, the Skyline Conference Pitcher of the Week.

The Skyline Pitcher of the Week award was bestowed to SJC's sophomore right-handed pitcher, Josh Outsen (Lindenhurst, N.Y./ Copiague), who threw a perfect game on April 24 beating Yeshiva, 11-0, to improve the Golden Eagles record to 13-1 in their final conference game of the year.  Outsen buried 11 Maccabees with K's, lowering his season ERA to 1.17.

Sophomore outfielder Anthony Bonilla (Massapequa Park, N.Y./ Farmingdale) received an Honor Roll mention after batting 6-for-12 and scored six runs across four games. Against Yeshiva, Bonilla was almost perfect at the plate, hitting 4-for-5 and scoring five times.

Lacrosse's junior midfielder and co-captain, Heather Ferchland (Selden, N.Y./ Centereach), made the Honor Roll following a four goal and two assist night leading SJC to a 19-13 victory over #2 seeded Mount Saint Mary. With the win, Ferchland helped preserve an undefeated conference season and a number one seed in this week's Skyline Conference Tournament.
