How it happened
  • It was the Maccabees who found success early in the match when Lavinsky found the back of the net at the seven-minute mark  to pull ahead 1-0

  • Just three minutes later, the Golden Eagles were awarded a penalty kick but were unsuccessful as Jose Rojas's attempt was saved by Marty

  • Early into the second half, St. Joseph's Diego Saravia would see an opportunity to score, but the keeper turned away the chance

  • SJLI's Lucas Pelaez and Vincent Mariani would both collect shots on goal later in the second half but again would be denied by the Yehsiva defense

  • In the last ten minutes of action, the Golden Eagles attack stayed aggressive as Nick Pensavalle and James Dacos tallied one shot on goal but found no success late as the Maccabees held on for the victory

Notes
  • The Golden Eagles totaled 11 shots, with the Maccabees recording 15
