Men's Golf Comes Up Short in Florida

Winter Garden, FL| The St. Joseph's College (L.I.) men's golf team suffered defeat to Luther College, 310-317, at the Orange County National Golf Center & Lodge's Crooked Cat Course in Winter Garden, Florida on Tuesday afternoon.

Zac Campanelli and John Melandro of St. Joseph's were individual runners-up with scores of 76.

Christian Bleck finished six over par with a 79, and Rob Bray shot an 88. Rounding out the St. Joseph's contingent was Evan Scheuch (86) and Patrick Standard (89).

Luther was led by Joe Fewer, who shot a contest best score of 73.

The Golden Eagles will next tee off on Friday, April 8 when they head to Honeybrook, PA for the Rosemont College Raven Invitational. Check back on sjcgoldeneagles.com for the results.
