Iavarone Earns 9th Consecutive Skyline Weekly Honor Roll Selection

New York, NY| The Skyline Conference released its weekly awards Monday afternoon, and amongst the winners was sophomore Andrea Iavarone of the St. Joseph's College (L.I.) women's basketball team, who was selected to the Weekly Honor Roll for the 10th time this season.
Iavarone posted two double-doubles in as many contests, averaging 15 points and 18.5 rebounds-per-game for the blue and gold last week. In a loss to Skyline Conference foe Farmingdale State College, Iavarone, went 5-for-8 from the field, dropping 14 points and picking up 11 rebounds. The Miller Place, NY native would post her 16th double-double of the season in a loss to Purchase College on Sunday, February 14 with a 16 point/19 rebound performance. Iavarone is currently third scoring (17.5 PPG) and first in rebounds (11.9 RPG) in the conference and is top-30 in the nation in rebounds-per-game and total rebounds. Additionally, Iavarone's 16 double-doubles are good for 9th in the country.
