Biggers Named Skyline Men's Volleyball Player of the Week

New York, NY| The Skyline Conference released its weekly awards on Monday afternoon and amongst the winners was junior Kyle Biggers of St. Joseph's College (L.I.) who was named Men's Volleyball Player of the Week.

Biggers hit .436 and put down 20 kills in three matches last week as the men's volleyball team posted a 2-1 record. In a 3-0 sweep of Sage on February 9, the middle blocker hit .545 and was credited with eight kills. Biggers wrapped up the week with six kills and six blocks in a 3-1 loss to #1 Springfield on February 9.

As of Monday afternoon, Biggers led the Skyline Conference in hitting percentage (.500) and blocks-per-set (0.64).

The men's volleyball team returns to action on Tuesday, February 15 when it hosts Misericordia University for a non-conference match.
