Men's Volleyball Picks up a Pair of Wins over CMSV

Patchogue, NY| The St. Joseph's College men's volleyball team picked a pair of Skyline Conference wins against the College of Mt. St. Vincent in the Danzi Center on Thursday night.

The Golden Eagles took down the Dolphins 3-0 in both matches to improve to 21-9 on the season with a 7-0 conference mark. CMSV drops to 2-16 overall, 0-7 Skyline.

SJC 3, CMSV 0

SJC took care of the Dolphins in the first match of the evening with 25-3, 25-9 and 25-12 wins in straight sets.

Sophomore Jack Solen finished with a match-high nine kills and six digs. Junior Kyle Biggers knocked down six kills and junior Matthew Amberge, Matt Cole and freshman Sean Williams recorded five kills apiece.

Setter Michael Lane dished 14 assists with Jason Siriban, and Tyler Jones adding 10 and 9 assists, respectively.

Cole matched Solen's six digs and Michael Bosco pitched in with five.

SJC 3, CMSV 0

As a team, the Golden Eagles hit .481 en route to 25-4, 25-10, and 25-9 set wins.

Paul Curaro led the SJC attack with 11 kills while hitting at a .688 clip. Juniors David Slager and Will Flohr recorded eight and seven kills, respectively.

Lane tossed 18 assists and Siriban added 15 and a game-best six digs.

The Golden Eagles wrap up the regular season on Saturday, April 6 when they travel to SJC-BK and take on Sarah Lawrence at 1:00 PM and the Bears at 3:00 PM.
