Gremli and Wolf Named All-Conference
New York, NY| Two members of the St. Joseph's University-New Your (L.I.) women's volleyball team were named to the Skyline All-Conference teams as announced by the Conference on Wednesday afternoon.
Senior outside hitter Madison Gremli and junior outside hitter Jackie Wolf landed on the first team.
Gremli finished second in the Skyline and led the Golden Eagles with 358 kills, averaging 3.77 kills per set. The senior was second on the team with 269 digs, averaging 2.83 digs per set while recording 37 service aces and 25 total blocks.
Wolf was second on the team, with 248 kills, averaging 2.64 kills per set. She added 266 digs, 2.83 digs per set, 41 service aces, and 10 total blocks.
St. Joseph’s entered the Skyline Conference Championship (15-10, 9-2 Skyline), as the No. 2 seed, defeating No. 3 seed USMMA in an epic five-set semifinal match. In the finals, top-seeded Manhattanville College eliminated the Golden Eagles to claim their second straight title.
