MacDonell Named Skyline Co-Runner of the Week, O’Sullivan and Gagliardi on Honor Rolls

New York, NY| The Skyline Conference released its weekly awards on Tuesday morning, and amongst the winners was Erin MacDonell who was named Skyline Conference Women's Cross Country Co-Runner of the Week. Additionally, women's soccer's Christina Gagliardi and men's soccer's Brian O'Sullivan received Weekly Honor Roll Recognition.

Erin MacDonell (Jr.) – Women's Cross Country Co-Runner of the Week

MacDonell collects her third Skyline Runner of the Week nod after setting a new personal-best 5k time of 18:59.69 at the 13th Annual Technology XC Challenge hosted by NJIT on Saturday afternoon. The Sayville, NY finished third in a field of 160 Division II, III and junior college runners and was the top Division II and III finisher. The Golden Eagles finished fifth out of 20 teams.

Christina Gagliardi (Fr.) – Women's Soccer Weekly Honor Roll

Last week's ECAC Metro and Skyline Rookie of the Week collected seven points in three games as the Golden Eagles posted a 1-2 record. In a 4-0 win over St. Joseph's (Brkln) on Thursday, the Ronkonkoma, NY native tallied twice and added an assist, and on Saturday she netted SJC's only mark in a 2-1 loss to Mt. St. Mary. Now with eight goals on the season, Gagliardi leads the team in scoring and is tied for third in the conference.

Brian O"Sullivan (Sr.) – Men's Soccer Weekly Honor Roll

On the Weekly Honor Roll for the second-straight week, O'Sullivan's double helped sink St. Joseph's (Brkln), 3-0, at home on Friday evening. The Manorville, NY native would also pick up an assist in a 3-1 win over Washington Adventist on Sunday afternoon. O'Sullivan extends his point-scoring streak to four games (10 points) and currently leads the Golden Eagles in goals (4), assists (3) and points (11).
