Four Golden Eagles Land on Skyline Conference Weekly Honor Rolls

New York, NY| The Skyline Conference released its weekly awards on Tuesday morning, and amongst the winners were Kristen Arbiter (softball), Tricia Barrett (women's lacrosse), Theresa Cardello (softball) and Casey Hickey (men's lacrosse), who all earned Weekly Honor Roll recognition for their respective sports.

Kristen Arbiter (Jr.) – Softball Weekly Honor Roll

Arbiter started in all six of the softball team's games last week as the Golden Eagles posted a 2-4 record. The catcher posted a .500 batting average and collected five runs and two RBI's. Last week's conference Player of the Week, Arbiter went 3-for-5 with two runs and one RBI in SJC's 6-5 win over Mount St. Vincent on Thursday.

Tricia Barrett (Sr.) – Women's Lacrosse Weekly Honor Roll

In one game last week—a 19-3 victory over Mount St. Vincent—Barrett matched a career-high of five goals and established a new career-best with seven points. As of Tuesday the attack ranked fifth on the team in both goals (13) and points (17).

Theresa Cardello (Jr.) – Softball Weekly Honor Roll

Across three appearances last week Cardello posted a 2-0 record and a 1.57 earned run average. In 22.2 innings pitched, the North Babylon, NY native struck out 12 batters and allowed five earned runs. In a 4-2 victory over Sage on Friday, Cardello recorded seven strikeouts in a complete game effort. As of Tuesday morning, Cardello's seven wins on the year were tied for second in the conference.

Casey Hickey (Jr.) – Men's Lacrosse Weekly Honor Roll

Hckey led all players with four goals and seven assists as the men's lacrosse team stormed past Mount St. Vincent, 17-6, on Wednesday evening. The East Quogue, NY, who recorded 14 shots in the victory, ranked second on the team and fifth in the conference in goals/game (2.73) before play on Tuesday evening.
