Patchogue, NY| The St. Joseph's College (L.I.) athletic department has been selected as one of three programs in the country to participate in the Disney Institute's NCAA Division III Fan Engagement Survey.
The program, which is being implemented for the first time, aims to gather on-site information to include in an online game-environment training resource for NCAA Division III members with the goal of creating and sustaining "championship decorum and game environments at all Division III institutions."
The Disney Institute will visit the SJC campus on Wednesday, February 8 to meet with game-day administrators, student workers and observe game-day management practices as well as fan interactions during the men's volleyball team's match vs. John Jay at 7:00 PM.
"We're honored and delighted to welcome the Disney Institute to St. Joseph's College," said Stephanie Palmeri, Assistant Athletic Director for Game Day Operations and Sponsorships. "Being one of three Division III programs selected to participate is a thrill for our department and we can't wait to show the Institute what SJC athletics is all about."
