Matthews is honored for the 2nd week in a row as he dominated in an 80-51 win over NYU-Poly…He poured in 27 pts., hitting 11-15 FG (73%), grabbed 19 boards, and had a school- record 8 blocks…Has Rams off to a fine 4-2 start

Mocanu was a model of consistency in leading MSMC to a 3-0 week, including 2 league wins…She averaged 15.0 ppg, 3.0 rpg, and 1.7 apg…Netted a game-high 19 pts. vs. St. Joseph's-L.I. and 14 vs. Purchase…Also had a game-high 12 pts. in a defensive battle vs. a talented NYU team

Bowman had a very solid week for the Gators…Led them to a 60-55 road win over Staten Island with a season-high 14 pts…For the week, she netted 9.7 ppg on 40% FG, while adding 3.0 rpg, 4.7 apg, and 3.0 spg

Charlotte Ackin - Maritime
Fr., Lewes, DE/West Broward HS
Ackin was superb for the Privateers as she left the cross country course for the pool…Against Staten Island, she won both the 200 IM (2:42.66) and 100 fly (1:25.58), and was part of both winning medley relay teams
Women's Swimming Rookie of the Week
Meghan Seaman – Mount Saint Mary
Fr., Staten Island , NY/St. Joseph by the Sea HS
Seaman put together a great meet at the ECAC Winter Championships…Finished 12th in the 1650 free (20:32.83) and had personal bests in the 50, 100 and 200 free…Also swam the leadoff leg for the school record-setting 800 free relay
Men's Swimmer of the Week
Enrique Naudy – Mount Saint Mary
Sr., Monroe, NY/Monroe-Woodbury HS
Naudy was outstanding in all four individual events at the ECAC Winter Championships…Top finish was 7th in 200 back (2:01.76) and was 10th in the 200 free (1:49.34)…Also was 16th in the 200 IM (2:06.16) and 18th in 100 fly (56.52).

Collin McNamara - Maritime

McNamara keyed a pair of Maritime wins…Led the Privateers to a win over Div. II Queens by winning the freestyle sprints – the 50 in 22.70 and 100 in 50.74 – as well as a part of the winning 200 free relay team
